Hello, welcome to my portfolio site. I am Diana, and I am a Freelance Graphic Designer. My love of art started when I was a freshman in High School when I began drawing cartoon cover art of Star Trek characters in graphite. I wasn't very good at it, but I had a lot of fun. I enrolled in an art class when I was a sophomore in high school during which I learned how to "draw"...That year I drew a picture of my grandparents and my dad when he was 5 years old. That picture is long gone, but it was the start of a love affair that has lasted. After I left high school, I got out of drawing so much and lost my talent for awhile, but never my love of art.

I went back to school when I was 25 to earn a degree in Family History from Utah State University and a Masters of Arts Degree in History and Culture from Union Institute and Vermont University. After a few months out of college I discovered that I wanted to rediscover my love of art. That is when I found the Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online Division. I chose Digital Desgin Diploma to compliment what I have already done. I taught myself how to use Paintshop Pro, now I work with Adobe Creative Suite 4.

Nowadays, I work with digital graphics from designing logos for a Star Trek group I belong to with my partner in crime, Allen, to designing cool digital art for my own personal pleasure. I like to learn about new effects and will spend hours working on a tutorial for learning something new.
